The purpose of the BADC Military Law Committee (MLC) is to advance legal services and justice and fairness for military service members and veterans, and to connect veteran and military organizations and attorneys.

For decades under the leadership of CAPT Kevin J. Barry, (USCG, Ret.), now deceased, the MLC advocated for the basic tenets of justice in the military through friends of the court briefs, assisting service members, and advocating for changes to federal law and regulation.

Committee members and like-minded persons periodically commune at American Legion Post 24 in Alexandria, Virginia for Taco Tuesday.

You may join the MLC if a Bar Association of DC member. Law students are welcome. You also may want to know of employers seeking former JAGs or want to join us when we meet for Taco Tuesday.

Contact billaramony @ to join the committee and if you want alerts about job opportunities, Taco Tuesday meetings, or other MLC matters.
